Boucherouite Rug, 5’7”x6’7” – Berber Night
Dimensions :5’7”x6’7” (170 x 201 cm)
Boucherouite rugs are made with dyed recycled textiles and are truly colorful creations! Because of their amazing splashes of color, they make me think of impressionist art but they also seem very graphic and modern as if they were made by contemporary graphic designers! Each and every Boucherouite rug at Baba Souk was hand-picked by me and it is one-of-a-kind and a true piece of art. As I like to say: “All you need is a Boucherouite rug”. They are such a conversation piece! It immediately upgrades your decor with a boho-artsy vibe that will keep you smiling.
I’m so very impressed by Berber women who learn their crafts through their moms and grandmothers, they make such cool creations living in the mountains without the Internet, they’re inspired by nature alone! Ah! I guess that’s what defines true artists. The carpets feel so cool and actual, they could have a place at the MOMA! 🙂
